General Platform & Getting Started

  •  It’s the marketplace where creators connect with destinations, showcase your travel images and get paid when partners license them!

  • Use the creator page to sign up. You’ll get an email with next steps and all the info you need, including how to upload your content.

  • Yes! We’re not charging creators to join while we’re in beta.

  • Just your name, email, and your social channels.

  • Travel Creators wanted! Content should be tied to a destination we’ve pre-approved.

Copyright, Ownership & Licensing

  • Yes! You own your work. You’re just granting us a license to display and license it to approved and vetted buyers from that destination.

  • Absolutely. You’re free to license your images anywhere as you see fit. We don’t own your imagery.

  • During beta, we have fixed prices in three tiers. Destinations can also ask for Custom licenses. We will contact you when that happens to help you facilitate the license and pricing

  • Please follow all local laws and rules for your destination.

  • We offer Web/Social, Print, Ad, and Editorial Licenses to Destinations and have a pricing structure that the creator gets to pick from.

Marketing & Visibility

  • Through partnerships with TBEX, IMAGEANDFILM, and visitor bureaus, destination partners are informed via the DMO and can browse your gallery.

  • Yes! We’ll let you know who bought your image, including the buyer’s name and email so you can connect directly.

  • We only display your images for buyers to see. If we want to use them for marketing, we will ask permission before using them.

Uploading & Managing Images

  • Images must be from a pre-approved destination, usually hotels, restaurants, attractions, and experiences a DMO, DMC, or partner might want to license.

  • During beta, yes. All images must focus on the TBEX host destination. Check if your location is approved before uploading.

  • Show us your best! There’s no hard limit, but we want high-quality, destination-friendly images only. We may remove images that don’t meet our standards.

  • Just send an email to market@imageandfilm.com and we’ll help you out.

  • Usually a few business days.

Earning & Payments

  • Once we get paid by the buyer, you’ll be notified and paid within 10-15 business days.

  • We prefer Venmo during beta, but can pay via Wise, PayPal, and other ways to make things easy for you.

  • Yes. Currently, creators receive about 77% of the sale price after processing and platform fees. Sometimes we will give discounts to buyers if they buy multiple files. While this means you might get less money if we do a sale this also means you might get multiple items sold! So its a win win win!

Policies & Safety

  • Yes, buyers go through a vetting process like creators. They must prove they’re a local travel business or partner.

  • No illegal, defamatory, pornographic, or copyrighted content you don’t own. This is a site for travel imagery only, see our Terms for full details.
